My Deadly Sin
60
Why do you invade my dreams at night?
Tempt me, tease me, like it’s alright
Your mysterious air burns fire within
I know you, my deadly sin
Dragging me in with your deep blue eyes
I see a devil in an angel’s disguise
Toxic words, deceptively sweet
Why is it only in dreams we meet?
You lick your lips and I’m on my knees
Not even your touch can put me at ease
I’m screaming, I want it, a sweet release
I love and I hate, you won’t leave me in peace.
Coming towards me, too good to be true
I know exactly what you will do
Your hand on my neck as you pull me closer
And like every night the dream will be over.
