I am a postgraduate student studying Healthcare Ethics in England to compliment my degree in Philosophy. I hope that one day, if I can't make a successful living as a writer, I will get an administrative job in a Healthcare environment, because I discovered recently that I actually really care about the well-being of others, especially children.

I love writing and reading. I have always done and it will always be a massive part of my life. I've recently started writing book reviews on here and I hope to build up a huge collection, although with uni coming up I don't know how much time I'm going to get to work on that.

I am very keen on photography. I recently got a SLR camera and while I haven't really had much chance to use it yet I'm seeing it as more of a long term investment. I photograph places and people and a couple of times a year I go to airshows with my dad and I love the challenge of photographing planes in flight.

I'm becoming quite the dab hand on photoshop. I don't often have a reason to use it but it's easy to pass a few hours messing around with it. My latest venture is designing book covers. If anyone needs a book cover designed then give me a shout!

I have been playing guitar since I was seven, and while I don't have a natural talent for it, when I put my mind to it I can learn anything I want. I've been known to write songs too although they never really seem capture the sentiment that I intend.

I love to travel and visit new places. As a kid my parents used to take me and my sister abroad around Europe, particularly the Mediterranean and to America a couple of times. As I've gotten older I've begun to appreciate it more and in 2009 I took myself off to Venezuela for a month to volunteer with children. It has only increased my desire to see the world!
